From April 2022, when it was founded, to April 2026, Barbati Gallery operated an exhibition space in Palazzo Lezze, a historic Venetian Gothic building overlooking Campo Santo Stefano in Venice, where it staged 21 exhibitions with Italian and international artists, from the inaugural show with Kelly Akashi to the final exhibition with Jason Dodge.

In this context, Barbati Gallery fostered dialogue between established and emerging practices through a year-round program of exhibitions and projects, promoting a diversity of artistic languages and serving as a meeting point between global perspectives and Venice’s cultural tradition.

As the Palazzo Lezze chapter comes to a close, Barbati Gallery continues its program while preparing for a new exhibition space, maintaining its commitment to research, experimentation, and the exchange of voices across the international art scene.
